Joelle Daley-Peart

Corporate Social Responsibility Lead

Joelle has worked in the health and palliative care sector for many years, supporting organisations such as St Joseph’s Hospice, Imperial College Hospital, and the Royal Free Hospital. With a BA in Community Arts and a Level 5 Award in Organisational Leadership, her career in Human Resources Management has driven her to transform organisations by enhancing the treatment and experiences of their workforce. As Joelle stepped further into leadership roles, taking on challenging and complex corporate behaviours, she found her true calling in mental health and corporate social responsibility. Today she continues her work in the NHS while studying to become a counsellor. Watching her daughter recently start secondary school, Joelle is motivated to make the corporate world a kinder, more compassionate place, where equal rights prevail. At the Mortality Alliance, she is pivotal to our mission to drive corporate change by educating organisations on how to be compassionate and responsible employers when their staff face end of life and bereavement trauma.

Employers need to further embed end of life and bereavement support into employee wellbeing provisions, otherwise they run the risk of exacerbating traumatic grief.
